• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

My microwave is making a humming noise when the door is closed. Exactly like the noise in the video below.

https://youtu.be/GbjvRZg8fMo

I tested the door switches with the door closed-
Top switch has continuity
Middle switch does not have continuity
Bottom switch has continuity

I believe the issue is with the control board but wanted to ask the experts.

Thanks

Sounds like the control board: 5304506032 PC Board

Just to be sure, disconnect the two wires on the primary side of the HV transformer. That eliminates all the HV components and the high side of the microwave.

Tape the ends if necessary so they don't touch anything and see if the noise is still there.
