Hello. I am new to this forum and hoping to get assistance. There is water dripping under my fridge (there is no water line) so I’m trying to figure out the cause. It is coming out near the front leg of the fridge (see photo). There was also a pool of water inside my fridge under the crisper drawer (which could have come from a spill?). There was also water inside the interior slot (see photo) which I just dried out with towels and found the drain in there. So maybe the drain is clogged? I’m wondering if that water could be getting inside the slot and coming out the front? That slot is all brown inside too and the drip tray is also full of dried brown substance - maybe dried rusty water? A couple different issues here but I’m wondering if they could all be connected. Thanks for any thought.

Hi,

Remove the false back wall (#25) and flush/clean the defrost drain out. Pour hot water down to test.

Thank you so much! I did this and the drain was clogged with rust. I was able to unclog it and flush out the drain. When I took off the false back wall I found it was covered in rust that had also gotten into the coils behind it (see photo). I cleaned it as much as I could but I fear it’s just a matter of time before the drain clogs again due to rust. Do you think replacing the false back wall would resolve the issue? Thank you again so much for your assistance!

I would clean up and spray paint the rusted area as that cover is not available any more.
