I have a Frigidaire gallery FGID2468UD1A dishwasher that stopped working and gives me the Er code. I replaced the control assembly, which is the plastic front with buttons. Did not fix the problem. Then I replaced the switch assembly and the control board. After this fix, the display would light up and show '191'.

I could push buttons but no change would happen and eventually the display would flash Er again. I replaced the control board and switch assembly a second time thinking maybe I got a faulty part and it is still broken. The same thing happens where the '191' will display and no matter what button I push, nothing responds and then the Er code will begin to flash once again.

The repair person I spoke with over the phone couldn't help much more and said it might be a faulty wiring harness. The only other part I have ever replaced on this dishwasher was the latch assembly. What should I do now? Could this be the wire harness? Could the latch assembly be causing the issue?

Should I just take the damn thing out and smash it with a baseball bat, because my patience is growing thin, my frustation has mounted, and I've put about $300 into repairing this dishwasher with no luck. Please help...thank you.

Here's all the threads with this ER error code: https://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/search/144434/?q=Frigidaire+dishwasher+ER+code&o=relevance

Your model uses that exact same one: https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/User-Control-And-Display-Board/5304517587/4840235

Here's another thread:

Seems like its a moisture collection / shorting-out issue with the keypad and/or control board.

Are you seeing any type of condensation on these boards?
