Broil and ranges work fine. When I preheat oven I get nothing. No heat. No gas smell.

Replaced oven ignitor 6 months ago. When that broke when I would go to preheat oven you would smell gas.

Where should I start in terms of troubleshooting?

Looking to see if the bake ignitor is glowing when turned on is usually the first observation necessary.
