Frigidaire Range FPGH3077RFB Gas oven won't come to temps above around 350 degrees??

My gas oven won't heat to temps above350 degrees and even then doesn't come to set temps. Book says "Keep Warm" temp is about 170 degrees but tested temp it shut off at 289 deg.
I used a digital thermometer with a probe for testing. (tested it and it is very accurate) See findings below:
All testing with door closed.

Set to Keep Warm setting - Preheat light came on with audible acceptance tone. Temp rose to 289 then shutoff. Came back on at 215.

Set to 350 deg. - Peheat light came on with audible tone. Temp rose to 271 then shut off. Came back on at 195 deg. Then shutoff at 245 and came back on at 189. Then rose to 260, shutoff and came back on at 189.

Set temp to 450 - Audible tone but NO PREHEAT LIGHT. Temp dropped from previous test to 200 then lit. Rose to 252 then shut off.

Set temp to 550 - Audible tone. No preheat light. After audible tone all lights went out. Didn't light.

Any ideas ?? Bad temp probe in oven?

I look forward to your suggestions as I'd like to get it back up and running. It's been a great oven and range until now. Arghhhh.

1. Make sure the sensor of your thermometer probe isn't touching the metal of a rack or oven wall. It needs to sense the air temperature.

The first thing after that would usually be testing the resistance of the oven sensor:

It should measure about 1100 ohms at room temperature.

I tested the sensor and it appears to be good. 1.08 K Ohms at room temp and when I held it tightly in my hand the resistance went up to about 1.12K.
At 212 deg - 1371 ohms which makes sense when I scale 212 from the chart that you linked.

Any other ideas what could be the cause of my issues?

I did some more testing:

Set Temp Knob to 450 and other knob to Bake. Acceptance chip at about 2 secs, Relay clicks at about 5 secs, flame rod started to glow at about 14 secs and flame lit at about 40 secs.

Not sure what to check next? Looking forward to your suggestions.

The sensor readings sound good but that doesn't necessarily mean it continues to function properly once heated, just not totally defective. That however is more difficult to check.

... and stayed lit?

If the sensor is functioning properly, I can only think there may be an internal malfunction of the electronic control. I don't know how you can confirm that.

You can try turning off the power to the range for a minute or two to see if the control's functioning corrects itself. It shouldn't hurt trying it anyway.

I just settemp at 350 and the highest draw I measured was about 3.14. The draw initially is 3.07 when burner lights and flame goes out at 3.08. On the next heating demand the ammeter read 3.14 then dropped to 3.07 before lighting off again. 3.14 amps is the highest draw I saw. From what I understand this is a 3.2-3.6 amp ignitor? Is that correct and could I assume that the ignitor is bad...or do you think it's within range?

I put the temp probe inside my bbq with my temperature probe right beside it (not touching each other or any other metallic bbq parts)
My readings were:

320 - 1493 ohms
333- 1555
350 - 1598
375 - 1665
400 - 1724
450 - 1847

The resistance is a bit off from the published chart however I attribute that to my testing equipment and setup. From the test I think I can assume that the probe is good considering that the resistance is climbing fairly consistently and appropriately with the temp.

Already tried to see if a reset would work right off the hop. I powered it down for about 5 mins with no change in symptoms.

That's a good idea! I think it shows the oven sensor is unlikely to be responsible at any temperature.
