I have a Frigidaire side by side Refrigerator model FFHS2611LWMA.

Present operationing condition
Freezer side ice cold
Frig side 50 F
Damper between freezer and frig stays closed.
At shut down the freezer displays "0" and Frig displays "F"

The damper operates as the youtube video titled
"Frigidaire Damper Control Problems" by PJ Hankins

Get into SERVICE MODE and do TEST 4--->FF(fresh food section) thermistor test and see if it flashes 1, if so its good. Do the same thing at TEST 3---FZ(freezer section) thermistor and see if it flashes 1, if so its good.

Then do TEST 5--->DAMPER MOTOR sub TEST A, B, C and post the results.

The results were TEST 4 flashing 1, TEST 3 flashing 1, TEST 5 immediately flashed 4. Assumption is that the DAMPER MOTOR is bad. Thank you for your help in this diagnostic troubleshooting.

You are correct, bad damper motor.

The damper control assembly has been installed with success. The refrigerator is operating normally again. Thank you for your help in fixing the appliance.
