Hey all, new here, just like everyone else, my freezer is cold my fresh food side is not.

I've taken the apart the fridge and tested the Thermistor and the Damper. I disassembled the damper and attached a 12v source to it without the control board involved, and the motor runs perfectly fine. I tested the Thermistor as well, all within spec.

When I go into service mode on the control panel, Damper motor immediately throws a 4 error code.

Do I need to replace my control board or the motor?

Here's the tech. data sheet for your model: https://ecommcdnprod.azureedge.net/...roduct_support/DFH/DFHS2313MFHA/808662201.pdf

Do TEST 5--->DAMPER MOTOR sub TEST A, B, C and post the results.

If A or B did not display a “4” this test will display “_” and the motor will not run.
If “4” was displayed in test A or B this test displays “E”, and runs the motor continuously.
--->If motor movement is not heard, there is a problem with the motor or motor circuit.
--->If motor is running, there is a problem with the damper switch or damper switch circuit.

Another member had this similar problem and the new damper door fixed it:
