Frigidaire

I replaced my oem charcoal filter with a 3rd part one off of Amazon 4 months ago. I replaced it again today with the same 3rd party filter and it broke the water dispenser. When I press the dispenser it gets stuck in the on position and the ice dispenser comes on shortly after. The only way to stop this is to take the filter out of fridge. This happens with both the old and new dispenser. So, I can't dispense water any more. Any idea what it might be or what I can do?

Added correct model number

What filter are you referring to? The water filter? I don't see a water filter listed for this model. Take a picture and post it here.

In the last few years we've seen a lot of problems with water filters from eBay and Amazon.
When I press the dispenser it gets stuck in the on position
Does the water come out of the dispenser non stop?

Yeah, the water leaks out from the dispenser nonstop at a slower rate and the actuator stays stuck in place until I remove the filter

OK, not enough water pressure with the filter installed. If you think the filter isn't the problem, replace the filter head. That's the only part it can be.
