Frigidaire Refrigerator LFHG2251TF2 Evap fan not turning on and already replaced. Help me troubleshoot.

Fridge is only 2 years old. Fridge is not cooling but freezer is. The evaporator fan does not turn on even when I push the freezer door switch closed and the fridge door is closed.

When I check voltage on three wires going to the evaporator fan I get 11.9volts when i connect any two sets with my meter. If there is voltage why is the evap fan not turning on. What else can I check.

Locate the J4 connector on the control board and check for 12 VDC across J4-2 and J4-9

Thank you, with the J4 plug unplugged I have 12volts from J4-2 and J4-9. Where can I go from here?

Replace the fan motor:

I have replaced the fan motor and it still does not turn on. I took the old motor and applied 12 volts to it and it runs.

I have made sure the fridge door switch is working correctly also.

Update - I just plugged in the original fan and now it turns on. I tried the new fan and it turns on also.

Doe this mean the board is going bad. Why would it suddenly start working when i could not get it to work for days?

Check the pins in the connectors. Sometimes they can back out.
