I may have already found the issue from an older post but just trying to confirm it. The dishwasher will not start, just flashes with the 3 beeps. It's been doing this randomly for awhile and I've always been able to get it to work by turning off the breaker for a few minutes... but not this time. I suspect it's the door switch/latch. I saw an older post regarding a GE Profile where they tested for the door switch with the procedure below. I did the same thing and the LEDs do blink. I'm guessing the procedure below works for my model as well?? Just thought I'd confirm before I order the switch/latch. Thanks!

"Hold the Cycle Select and Start pads simultaneously for 5 seconds. Then close the door. If the control sees the door as closed, all the LEDs will be solid for 10 seconds. If the control sees the door as open, the LEDs will blink for 10 seconds."

Hi, yes that test is correct, but a bad machine control board can create that false error code when the door is closed. So Let's first check the STATUS LED on the machine control board(underneath the dishwasher). Follow the instructions below.

Check the STATUS LED on the machine control board for a flash pattern, or if its STEADY ON or STEADY OFF. Make sure you keep all the connections to the machine control board are plugged into it while viewing that STATUS LED.

--->Here's the machine control board for your model: WD21X24901 Machine Control

Reconnect power to the dishwasher and view the STATUS LED. Make sure all connections on the control board are still in place.

Well, the LED is not lit so I'm guessing it's the board. I just powered it down for about 10 minutes to watch the LED when I powered it back up. The LED never blinked when I powered it back up and is still not lit. And it has the same problem so I'd say it's the control board, right?

Yes, you nailed it! Bad machine control board.

--->If you are getting 120 volts to the machine control board(under the dishwasher) and the STATUS LED is STEADY OFF, that means the machine control board is the culprit. Since you are getting lights and beeping that indicates you are getting 120 volts to the machine control board. So your machine control board is bad.

You can order from my link to it in post #2 and you will be back in business!

Let us know how it goes after you replace it.
