Hi,
All of sudden my dishwasher will not turn on. I do not think it has power because no lights are on and I don’t hear it making any sound.
I went downstairs to the electrical panel, and turned the dishwasher switch off and back on. The dishwasher is still not responsive.
Any ideas? Picture is attached.

Check your main control board STATUS LED, Tell us how many times its flashing in a row, or if its STEADY ON or STEADY OFF.

To view the STATUS LED, lower down your bottom access panel of your dishwasher. You DO NOT have remove the control board from its metal casing when you view the STATUS LED.

When you have that panel lowered down turn the breaker back ON to your dishwasher. When viewing it leave all the electrical connectors to it plugged in.

Ok can I just unscrew it? It says to disconnect power to the dishwasher first , but I’m not sure how to do that bc I don’t see a power plug anywhere. Do I turn the breaker off?

Yes, just turn the breaker OFF to your dishwasher outside at your home breaker box.

This is crazy. I followed all the steps. Turned the breaker off. Removed all the screws and pulled the control board out.
I turned the breaker back on. And the status led flashes only once. It pauses for about a second, then flashes once again. It keeps repeating that way.
However, now the dishwasher is working for some reason. All of the power is back on for its external controls. Any ideas? Should I just put it everything back together and say problem is solved?

Many members have done the same as you, and it came back to life after lowering that bottom access panel to check the STATUS LED on the machine control board. So to me it seems like either a loose connection at the machine control board, or the machine control board is getting flaky and starting to intermittently fail.

So check all the electrical connections on the machine control board and make they are all tight, then put it all back together and see how it does. If it keeps happening then it has the be the machine control board that's doing this. And replacing the machine control board will fix it.
