Started waking up randomly without being touched last year so assumed the UI board was going bad(but board BO everywhere). Then it would die(no lights) and only come back to life after the breaker was cycled off and on, but eventually that stopped working and it died completely ~2 months ago. Control board LED fast flashing. Checked voltage between door harness connector pins on the control board and it was fine.

Replaced UI board with part #WD21X32006(has no jumper blocks), still dead. Just replaced the control board with part #WD21X32165, still dead. New board has rapid blinking LED just like the old one. Did try cycling the power, and holding down the buttons on the control panel to reset with no luck. Anything else to try?

Here's the service manual: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1csheGsbSmPFRON5ThkhhwfvZ6saWoxHc/view?usp=sharing

Look at the service manual on page 48. This is ALL it says below. Its very vague and does not tell you how to check for proper UI Board voltage, like the older GE models did.

User Interface (UI) Diagnostics--->No display or LED’s will light.
Check for 120 VAC entering the main control board. If no volts are found, check the home breaker. If main control has 120 VAC, check to see if the service LED on the main control board is flashing. If no, replace the MC(machine control) board. If there is a flash, check the door harness and connections. Replace the User Interface (UI).

Here's the UI Board for your model:

Where did you get the new UI Board at? You possibly got a defective UI Board.

The new UI Board should of fixed it, look here:

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply!

Interesting development I'd like to run past you. Tested the door wire harness for continuity which was difficult with the micro pin slots on the connector, had to stick a strand of copper in each one since my multimeter probe wouldn't fit. Was able to get a little signal on each one but of course the connection was spotty using this method. Also checked the pins again at the control board, 13.38 volts. Checked corresponding wires where it connects to the UI board and still 13.3x volts.

Reconnected new UI board, still dead. You mentioned it could be defective so I swapped out for the old one and it fired right up! Switched back and forth a few times with the same result, old one works now for some reason and new one is defective(it was from Sears). I then swapped out the new control board with the old one and it still fires right up. Ran a cycle with no issues.

So since we're up and running without any new parts installed am I correct in assuming the remaining option is a failing wiring harness?

Possibly.

Here's the door wire harness for your model:

If your meter leads are too big, use this safety pin trick to test it again.

We are having the EXACT same issue and have the same model. Any resolution? We have replaced UI and main control board with no luck.

We have been in touch with GE since this has been a terrible dishwasher. It was doing this since basically new but one day (after warranty expired) died completely. Maybe door harness? Is there a schematic?

Also consumer error mode shows no issues with the door latch or any other codes relating to anything else.

No resolution yet. Did replace the wiring harness, but the machine still wakes up randomly and dies sometimes. Cycling the breaker doesn't fix it, but unplugging the user interface wiring harness from the bottom of the control board and replugging several times with the power still on seems to reset it.

Update:

I have replaced the main board, the UI board, and the door harness and no luck. This GE dishwasher still wakes up randomly and sometimes unresponsive.
