Hello -
We have been trying to purchase a replacement lower control board (WD21X25732) however on every site the estimated availability date is continuously pushed back. It now gives a different number however some of the sites are saying that is not compatible with the 2 year young GE Dishwasher that we have (GDFS30PMM0ES AR777477B). Are we just the lucky ones or is this a common hardship right now? We'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Welcome to the world of shortages after Covid. The control most likely comes from China however everyone has to buy them from GE and if GE is out of them, everyone else is too once any current stock is depleted.

The current replacement part number for # WD21X25732 is # WD21X32165.

some of the sites are saying that is not compatible with the 2 year young GE Dishwasher

Part 'compatibility' checks are not 100% as there are a lot of variables. Do NOT rely upon them! Look up the part number in a parts list for the machine and then use whatever part # the manufacturer substitutes it to.
