I have a 3 or 4 year old GE model GDT545PGJ2WW that acts like the door is open (3 double beeps with the blinking orange activity light on the front). I've tried unplugging for 5 mins and plugging back in, replaced the door switch, checked door alignment. I went into the error mode and got an 815 code with blinking LEDs (all of them) then held cycle for 5 seconds to reset the service mode. Still no dice.... Any advice? I'm starting to think I need a control board, but before I spend the $75 plus shipping I'd like to be sure.

Thanks,
Matt

Well, I found the service pamphlet tucked into the leg under the machine. I opened up the bottom panel to expose the control board. No status light. No matter what I did, error mode, service mode, reset CSM, couldn't get it to stop thinking the door was open and could not get a status light on the control board. I am guessing this means I need a new control board?

Hi,

Yes, If the STATUS LED is STEADY OFF, and you have to 120 volts coming to the machine control board, then the machine control board is bad and it's also causing the door light issue.

--->Here's the machine control board for your model you can order: WD21X24900

Let us know how it goes after you replace it.
