Hello,
I have a GE dishwasher with what looks like to be a common problem. When attempting to run the dishwasher I press start, close the door, and an orange light on the face of the door will blink while the unit beeps 3 times until I cancel.

Searching these forums I was able to find similar issues but not my specific GE model number.
The unit is only 3-years old so I am hoping it won't need to be replaced.

I appreciate any help.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Matthew,

Your missing a digit in your model number, we need that digit to assist you. The model number tag is located inside the door on the tub frame.

Here's the results I egt:
GDT625PSJ0SS
GDT625PSJ2SS
GDT625PSJ4SS
GDT625PSJ5SS
GDT625PSJ6SS

Thanks Matthew!

--->Here's the main control board for your model: WD21X24900

I just located another thread with this same exact model number as you, and same exact problem:
It was the main control board that fixed his.

See how many times your main control board STATUS LED is flashing.

To view the STATUS LED, remove the lower access panel of your dishwasher, you don't need to remove the board from its metal casing to view the STATUS LED. Leave all the electrical connections plugged into the board as well when viewing the STATUS LED.

Let us know what you find.

Hey Jake

Thank you so much for your help. I just ran through the steps to look at the STATUS LED and it ended up no lighting up.
I read through that other thread that you referenced in your last response. It looks like I may be having the same issue with the Main Control Board.

I thought maybe the washer was in demo mode, so I followed the directions to exit demo mode. But that did not seem to work.

It seems I may need a new MC.

Let me know if you think there is anything further I should try!
Thanks

Yes Matthew, if the STATUS LED on the main control board is STEADY OFF, then means your main control board is the culprit.

Order the main control board I posted for your model in post #4 above and you'll be back in business.

Let us know how it goes.
