GE Dishwasher is having major issues! When we try to start it, half of the time it wont start (latch is working fine, we've tested that.) and then randomly if left alone it will attempt to start and run on its own, but it just makes a buzzing sound like it is trying to get started but wont. The timer starts at 122 minutes and after checking it a while later it has gone up to 125 minutes and hasn't started, but is still making noises like it is TRYING to start. Any ideas? We are thinking we need to replace the control panel..?

Yes, when the dishwasher does random waking up/beeping/or trying start issues on its own occurs, the problem is your UI Board.

Here's the UI(user interface) Board for your model you can order: WD21X23462 Kit Svc Ui Top Logic

"NOTE--->When replacing UI control boards, the new UI Board MUST be configured as per the instructions included with the replacement. If the personality is not set by using the 4 jumpers, the buttons, LED’s or cycles will not function properly"
