Hello, so frustrated but I feel better seeing similar issues on this blog and Jake seems like a hero.

My GE GDT655SSJ2SS, stops, beeps …. But no nothing for a few weeks… finally got a technician here and it worked… used 2x and now nothing again

Guessing I should buy WD 21x 24901? From where is best?

What does that mean? What did tech. do that made it work 2 times, if that's what you mean?

Is the STATUS LED on the machine control board, which is located underneath the dishwasher, Flashing a pattern or STEADY ON or STEADY OFF?

To view the STATUS LED, remove the lower access panel of your dishwasher. You DO NOT have remove the control board from its metal casing when you view the STATUS LED.

When you have that panel lowered down turn the breaker back ON to your dishwasher. When viewing it leave all the electrical connectors to it plugged in.

Thanks for your reply… what I didn’t say clearly was that after a couple weeks of not working…when a technician finally arrived… that day it had power and seemed to be fine- he probably thinks I am crazy. It ran fine all weekend and stopped again. 3 years old so I guess I should get the part. I had to fix and something else is wrong. What dishwasher do you think is more reliable?

The Maytag Dishwasher is the most reliable one. That's what I have in my kitchen, and not a single problem since I installed it brand new in March 2014.
