I have a 3 yr old GE dishwasher which has been working great until now.
When running any cycle- the washer fills with water, rinses, washes, rinses again, drains.... then it stops. The front light (normally amber) is off and the top panel appears to be reset as if its waiting to run the next load.
Things I noted:
-when opening the door during wash, there's plenty of water.
-The water is hot and if I open quick enough, I see water squirting out of the moving arms.
-The dispenser door opens normally during the cycle and the dishes are essentially clean when it stops, just wet.
-All buttons and electrical seem to be working properly.
In my non-professional opinion the stop appears to happen just before the dry cycle begins. I'm willing to try light troubleshooting/repair but if it gets too involved, will call in a pro. Thanks for any advice!
