So, we’ve had the GE GDF520PMJ6ES for a couple of years. Over the past few days, it started making random beeps we figured the baby caused by all of her button mashing (we just figured out how to lock the panel).

This morning, I started a load and it stopped in mid-wash after 10 or so minutes. The control panel is unresponsive, it doesn’t show LEDs, and pressing START + SELECT CYCLE for 5 seconds does nothing. I pulled the control module out and the LED is a constant flickering green.

Where do I go next? Could the heating element be bad and the dishwasher refuses to power on (although it’s apparently getting power)??

Per your model number, yours uses the square board: WD21X25732

So on the square board the flashing light means that machine control board is working and the problem would be the UI Board.

--->Here's the UI(user interface) Board for your model: WD21X23463 Kit Svc Ui Front Logic

When you click the UI Board part link you will see a video of how to replace it.

"NOTE--->When replacing UI control boards, the new UI Board MUST be configured as per the instructions included with the replacement. If the personality is not set by using the 4 jumpers, the buttons, LED’s or cycles will not function properly".

Let us know how it goes after you replace it.

Well that was an easy fix. It lives! I haven’t started a new wash just yet, but the machine acts like all is normal. Thank you so much for the help!
