FIXED GE Dishwasher GDF620HMJES - 3 Beeps - wont start (doesn't see door closed)

Hi Folks,

I have a GE dishwasher model GDF620HMJES and when i try to start it, it beeps and doesn't start the cycle. I ran the quick diagnostics on it and it was basically telling me it doesn't see the door closed.
I replaced the door switch and still have the same problem. I'm assuming its the control board. I can easily take the control board out, but i do not know where to go next. How can i determine if the problem is the board or something else?

Hi Jason,

Your missing a digit in your model number, that is very important. Read it from the model number tag, which is located inside the door on the tub frame.

--->Check your machine control board STATUS LED, Tell us how many times its FLASHING in a row, or if its STEADY ON or STEADY OFF.

Restore Power, then make sure the door harness connector is attached to the bottom of the control board casing connector when you view the STATUS LED light, Also make sure the 120 volt connector to it in the front is still attached to it also.

I have reconnected the door harness and power connectors. The control board has no LED light on at all, so STEADY OFF is the status.

Ok, STEADY OFF indicates the machine control board is the problem.
