GE dishwasher GDF640HGM0WW Control panel unresponsive/no lights

Started with random beeping for about a week and then the control panel stopped lighting up and buttons are unresponsive. I attempted to reset by holding the cycle and start button for 5 seconds and that did not work. The control board status light is blinking rapidly which I thought was an indication that the user interface board was bad so I replaced that but still has the same symptoms. Machine is only 2 years old. Any ideas?

Hi Kevin.

No, the control board STATUS LED on this newer style GE dishwashers is suppose to blink.

These newer style GE models are much more difficult to diagnose and the service information on them is extremely vague, so I'm not going to be able to help you with this one.

You will need to contact GE to come out at 1-800-432-2737 and see what's going on.
