GE dishwasher GDP645SYN2FS shuts off shortly after starting.

Hi, this is about 3 years old but runs 1 a day. I had this problem in the past and clean out fine cat air from the impeller with the fine cutting blade. I did this again but this time it didn’t fix the problem. It has a lot more hair than the first time.

Where should I go from here? I need help to get it back up and running.

Thanks

Here's the service manual for your model: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15CmFe-hcufL5XUJPsqlEN3AzwDZ6z0M-/view?usp=sharing

Get into Consumer Error Mode on page 45, then on page 47 enter Service Mode and you will want to activate the Circulation Pump under where it says Load to Control--->LED blink #3.

See if the Circulation Pump comes on and runs for 2 minutes.

Then on page 56 is the No Circulation and Drain flowchart you will need to do if the Circulation Pump is not running.

Here's the Wash Motor(aka Circulation Pump) assembly for your model:

Let us know what you find.

Thank you. I got it back up and running after clearing out dog and cat hair from the motor impeller.

Excellent, good job, glad to hear that.(y)

Thanks for the update!
