I have a GE dishwasher for which I replaced the main UI board almost 2 years ago. Now, the problem seems to have shifted: I had no lights/response from the buttons and the green service LED was blinking 1x per second. I powered off, removed the door, disconnected the wire harness, and re-powered the dishwasher. I got the 13.5VDC so I reconnected the wire harness and everything worked for a few months. However, the dishwasher would randomly beep as if it had just been powered on. A few days ago, it stopped responding again. Does this sound like a problem with the UI board (an OEM part replaced in May 2021), the board on the door, or just the connection? Should I purchase a new wire harness, or just clean up the contacts and try to get it to connect better?

Thank you!

So, I disassembled the dishwasher again and made a mistake in my previous message: the service LED is solid and I have 14.15V at the end of the wire harness, but nobody is home on the UI. This means I need a new UI board, right? (I found this, related message:
Is this the right part? WD21X31910

Yes, the UI Board is the issue again, unfortunately.

Yes, that is the correct UI Board for your model: WD21X31910

Remember to set the personality jumpers before you install it, the instructions will come with the new UI Board.

Let us know how it goes.

It's working like a charm! Thanks very much for your guidance.
