When I run my dishwasher I noticed dishes were still wet. I added rinse aid and still had the same problem. I'm pretty sure it is the heater element. I ran a test cycle and the heated dry did not happen. When I open my dishwasher right after a cycle, some steam will come out and it feels very warm. That doesn't happen anymore, which makes me think something is broken with the heated dry. Let me know what you think and what I should check or what parts I should buy.

Thank you for the help, I've always been given great advice on this forum.

Possibly the flood switch. To verify that--->First ohm test the flood switch. A bad flood switch would make it NOT heat either.

--->Ohm your flood switch resistance with a multimeter set on 20K ohms.
the resistance across pins 3 & 5 on the flood switch should be about 11K ohms at room temp, and 1,300 ohms at 175 degrees.

These 2 circled in red are pins 3 & 5:

Here's the flood switch for your model:

I think that's what I'll need. Attached is the picture I took when I checked it tonight. 1.4k ohm...

Yes, you will need the new flood switch.

Let us know how it goes.
