FIXED GE Dishwasher GDT545PSJ6SS UI buttons not working

Hello!

I have a GE GDT545PSJ6SS, never heard any beeps, but the LED on the control board was rapidly blinking. I replaced the UI and set the personality accordingly. But unfortunately the buttons on my new UI don’t work appropriately. Pressing one button controls a totally different function - I.e. if I hit steam it’s actually maybe start, or select cycle does nothing, etc. I’ve take the door down and apart twice now. I attempted to attach a movie as to what I mean. Any input?

We would need the complete model number first. Read it from the model number tag.

Double check the personality jumpers, it doesn't seem like you have them set properly per your model number, did you follow the instructions that came with it? Take a photo of how you set them and attach the photo in your next post.

Yes, here is how I have it set up! I used the directions included with the part, which I threw away at this point, but I believe I remember it being personality 14. Pictures below. I figured it must have been something inappropriately positioned, but have the personality lined up properly from what I can tell.

Ok good, your personality is 14 per the first 6 digits of your model number, looks like the personality jumpers are set properly, so the UI Board is likely defective, where did you get it at?

Mine is the same scenario as that which you linked. My old UI did not have the jumpers but did have the square spot on “1” as mentioned in that post! So recommend getting a replacement? I noticed you linked the appropriate product on another users post a while back but they were sold out from your recommended supplier. Looks like they may be back in stock now tho.

Yes, because it should be working properly, you have the jumpers set properly.

I noticed you linked the appropriate product on another users post a while back but they were sold out from your recommended supplier. Looks like they may be back in stock now tho.
That is correct, when I just clicked the link to the UI Board I posted above in post #4 it shows in-stock.
