I recently replaced the Main Control Board as well as the User Interface Control Panel on my GE Profile dishwasher. On the new UI board, I set the jumpers as per the instructions and at first the board did not respond. I removed the door and removed and reinstalled the jumpers and the UI board came to life. When I shut the door, the lights come on. When I open the door, the lights remain on. Prior to the old UI going out, the lights would remain on for 15-20 minutes and turn off after no activity. With this new UI, the lights have remained on for several hours. The dishwasher works just fine but I’m trying to figure out why the lights remain on with no activity for several hours. I’m afraid if this continues, the led lights will go out sooner than later.

That's very odd, are you absolutely sure you set the jumpers properly? Did it come with the instructions in the box to set them? It should have, post a photo of how you set them and I can tell you if its correct.

Did you install the Correct UI Board?

I set the jumpers as per the instructions. 8 even 4 down 2 even 1 even.

It seems to be working properly now.
