The I'm having an issue with my GE GDT655SSJ5SS dishwasher. When I press start to start a cycle it does not start. Within about 4 seconds the dishwasher beeps three times then the small green light above the start button and the orange light in the center of the door flash together. The beeping goes off again about 30 seconds later. The flashing lights are continuously flashing.

I then turned the power off at the breaker for 5 minutes and when the power was turned back on the flashing and beeping continued. Anyone have any ideas as to what may be wrong? It's only 3 years old.

Its sounds like the machine control board is faulty, that's very common on these GE dishwasher models.

So the odd thing is I took the guts out to look at the control board and it started working again. The space the dishwasher sits in is tight and it's at an angle. Could it be possible the washer moved a bit and the odd angle was preventing the door from sealing completely?
