GE dishwasher PDT825SSJ0SS started doing the 3 beep, replaced door latch

Have a PDT825SSJ0SS from 2017-ish timeframe. Recently the dishwasher started doing the 3 beep - blinky light thing when I tried to start a cycle. CEM showed 815 code (software version) and all blinking LED's (with the door closed) indicating that the door latch was sensing "open". SO ... I replaced the door latch with a brand new one. Same result. CEM door check shows blinking LED's even with a pristine new latch. Any ideas why that would be?

Then it would be the machine control board(underneath the dishwasher) that's faulty. Another member was having the same issue and theirs uses your exact same control board and the new machine control board fixed it:
