Hello, I'm new to this forum so thanks in advance for your help. I have a GE garage-ready top-freezer refrigerator, GTS19KGNRWW . It's supposed to be rated down to 38F but it gets a little colder than that here in Michigan(!) and I'm having trouble keeping the freezer cold without making the fridge too cold. I see those thermostat heater kits for other fridges but this one has a more complicated circuit board leading to the thermostat so the heater kit I got from Amazon is not plug-and-play.
Has anyone found a solution to this, or been able to modify the heater kits for this model of fridge? I think it would work if I knew which wires to tap into to power the heater wrap.
Thanks again for any help!
