Hi all,
I saw a few threads on this in the forum, but I have replaced the parts that seem to be the solution for others (flood switch and heating element). However, I still have no heat. Should I be looking at the TCO? Any other suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Hi Izzy,

Did you make sure the water level in the tub is high enough? If not, then it won't heat either.

Did you ohm test your old flood switch first?

The resistance across pins 3 & 5 on the flood switch should be about 11K ohms at room temp, and 1,300 ohms at 175 degrees.

In fact ohm test the new one you installed to make sure that one didn't come defective. 99% of the time the new flood switch is the fix.

Yours uses the exact same flood switch:

Look on page 49 in the service manual.:)

Let us know what you find.

Hey Jake! Thanks for the response. I had a tech out today who ran a diagnostic test (running out of time to troubleshoot). Based on the test results, it seems to be the TCO has failed. Do you know where I can order the TCO without the harness? Or do I need to replace the harness with the TCO?

Did you try to reset the TCO first?

Look on Page 66 here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/79qj211m0bya8uz/31-9226.pdf?dl=0

If not, then yes you can only get it when you order the wire harness here: WD21X22616 Harness Asm

It also says to replace the control board when you replace the TCO.

Here's the control board for your model:

Excellent.:)

Did you also replace the control board? It also says to replace the control board when you replace the TCO.:)
