Hey All,

I have a GE GDT695SFL3DS dishwasher with a bit of an annoying problem. The UI/dishwasher itself powers down and becomes unresponsive. Here's my current process:

• Dishwasher is unresponsive
• Turn off circuit breaker, wait 20-30 minutes
• Turn on circuit breaker
• Most times, the dishwasher powers itself back on. Sometimes, it does not and I repeat the process above.
• The dishwasher is then on and functional for the day. At times it will make beeping noise when not in use which I've always found odd.
• The next day, the dishwasher becomes unresponsive again, causing me to repeat the steps above when wanted to do a cycle.

Obviously, this isn't sustainable for me and my wife. We had an electrician come to the house to review the electrical and he confirmed that all wiring - from the circuit breaker to the dishwasher itself - is strong and has power.

I could call an appliance repair technician, but I wanted to confirm if there is a quicker and more affordable fix first.

I'm unsure if the issue could be centered around the control board, the display UI, or the door latching system itself.

Yes, when the dishwasher does random waking up/beeping/or trying start issues on its own occurs, the problem is your UI Board at the top of your dishwasher door.
