I changed the filter as normal and as I started to purge the filter I got about 1/4 cup of water and then a big blast of air. When the blast of air came out the water dispenser stopped working and the front control panel lights when off. I tried putting the old filter back in but every thing is still dead.

Any ideas on what to do?

Hi Andrew,

Sounds like the display board went out or the blast of air did something to it, that is very odd though, I've never seen that happen before myself.

Also, Check the wire connections on the board:

To remove it, Unplug the refrigerator first, then look underneath it for 2 screws on both underneath sides of it, remove those screws and it should pull out.
