Hello all,

My apartment lost power last week, and after being out for about 12 hours power was restored. After power came back on, my refrigerator's inside lights were still on but there was no cooling happening. This remained the case for several days, until it suddenly came back on this morning (so it was out of commission for roughly 4 days).

This has happened a few times in the past, and it seems like each time it happens it takes longer for the fridge to start cooling again. I understand from browsing around the forum that there is a common issue related to a power surge damaging the control board. Does anyone have a sense for whether that could still the case here given that my fridge eventually starts back up? Or could there be another culprit involved?

Many thanks for any insight here.

Sam
