I had the plastic ends to the drawstring on my pants get stuck on the dryer deflector. When I tried to get them out they broke off and fell behind the dryer deflector. I took off the defector like an idiot and now I cannot get it lined up correctly. Any help is appreciated.

You will need to remove the drum to get the shaft back on the support. Line up the 3 holes with a couple screwdrivers going from the back of the drum to the inside of the drum. That way you can hold the screwdriver shafts with one hand and get the first screw in. Push one screwdriver out and get the second one in.

Thank you! Is this a two person job, and is removing the drum something that I can do myself? I have little experience with repair work but I’m willing to give it a try.

No, not unless you don't have a couple screwdrivers.

Probably. I tried to find a video at some of the parts site but no luck. Check YouTube with your model number and use key words like heater or motor replacement. The drum needs to come out for either of those repairs.
