I’ve had this hood for 5 years, and about 2 years ago I noticed some oil dripping from it. My husband duct tape the seam between the two plastic pieces (where the fan resides) and called it a day. Now the oil has increased and it’s dripping heavier. The metal filters are clean, the oil is INSIDE the black plastic. It’s vented to outside, not recirculating, so there are no charcoal filters. Anyone know HOW TO DISASSEMBLE the plastic? It’s unfortunately not looking as simple as removing a few screws. Thanks!

In many cases the motor and fan unit needs to be separated from the hood first. Then the screws holding the fan housing together can likely be removed to separate the housing.

I do not know the procedure to remove the motor and fans from the hood on that unit, sorry.
