It was working perfectly fine, then yesterday I was in the middle of cooking, turned the timer on the microwave at the same time (which shouldn't do anything) and the oven blew, just completely died. No sound, no blinking light, nothing. The panel is just black. Thought I might have blown the breaker. So flipped that off/on again to be sure. But the oven is still dead.

I'm not even sure where to start looking to see what happened, any ideas what might be going on?

THERMAL SWITCH
The thermal switch is located on the rear of the oven above the bake element ter- minals. The switch will open the neutral leg of the power to the electronic control in the event of a fan failure. The switch will open when the panel it is mounted to reaches approximately 216°F and will re-close when the temperature cools below 162°F. If the thermal switch opens during any cooking mode, the control display will go blank. Here is your tech sheet!

Yes, bigbuck is correct.

I'd first check the limit switch for continuity, make sure the breaker is OFF to the wall oven before you do that. Use a multimeter to ohm test it for continuity. Its behind the back access panel on the back of your oven. You will need to pull the oven out from the wall to get access to it. I'd suggest having someone help you pull it out from the wall, these wall ovens are heavy.

Here's the limit switch for your model you can order, if yours ohms bad.

You can watch this video to ohm test it for continuity:

Thank you both for you help. We did check the limit switch for continuity and there was nothing.

If there was no reading, then the limit switch is the culprit.
