Our oven is working fine, but the cooling fan stays on for seems to be a loong time. Is this typical for wall ovens? or does the fan loose efficiency over time? For this model, can the fan be replaced by removing the control board panel, or does the oven have to be slid out. Replacing the fan if needed doesnt scare me, but the weight of the oven does. Any feed back welcome, thanks. From the diagram, it looks like slide the oven out, remove fan cover, remove and replace fan. I'm just worried about how heavy the unit is. and if its normal to run and run, I won't do anything. Last time we tried self cleaning the unit overheated and gave an error code, so I'm wondering if that points to a tired fan.

I have no direct knowledge of that model but there is usually a thermostat that controls the running of a cooling fan. That thermostat might be out of calibration with age but more likely, there might be an obstruction in the air flow around the oven.

Check for blockages in the air circulation throughout and around the oven. (There are often also air ducts into the oven enclosure that might need inspection.)

does the fan loose efficiency over time?

Not usually but its movement and air circulation might be hampered. There is one filter shown at the rear of the console compartment that might be restricting air flow.
