Hey yall, this 9 yr old GE washer, model GTWN4250D1WS, keeps repeating wash cycle. On normal wash it fills, washes, and drains fine. Indicator light marks cycle as expected until rinse cycle begins. Once rinse cycle is to begin, indicator light goes back to wash. Unit is fine until it hits rinse cycle. We have to manually select rinse cycle to finish load.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Colton

Hi Colton,

The problem is the control board.

Here's the control board for your model you can order:

That's very odd, that new board should of fixed it.

I'm attaching your tech. data sheet below, get into FIELD SERVICE MODE and do TEST 4 to check for error codes.

Jake,

This was an attempt at remote repair for a family member which failed.

Recommended test did not work, test described in owners manual did not work. Other tests for same model found online did not work. No codes were produced.

Wash cycle completed by manually advancing cycles. Upon completion, grease found on garments.

Unit trashed and replaced without my knowledge.

Thanks, Colton

Jake,
My apologies, and thanks. I'm mad the fam was quick to abandon repair and purchase new! Maybe I should have driven the 6.5 hours to do it in person. LMAO!!!
