I just bought a house with a built-in and both fridge and freezer are not coming down in temperature. After being scammed by a fake appliance tech and then a faulty diagnosis by another tech costing way too much, I am now trying to figure it out on my own.
I've gone through the diagnosis suggested in this thread - https://www.applianceblog.com/mainf...riss-ge-monogram-refrigerator-too-warm.45413/ and have passed them for the specific tests suggested.
I cannot figure out what the issue is, but here is what I have seen so far that may help identifying what the issue is with your help:
1) Water is building up under the compressor
2) Condensation builds up on the HMI Temperature Control
3) Condenser fan is running all the time
4) Once fridge/freezer door is closed, the evaporator fan continues to run at full speed.
Things that I have done so far:
1) Replaced the main board
2) Added the heater around the ice dispenser
3) Did the dollar bill test to make sure that the doors were closing properly and they were.
Any idea what the issue may be here?
