Hello Blog Team,
My GE Dishwasher - PDT825SSJ0SS is like dead box.....no display in the UI panel. Few weeks back I got the same symptoms and I replaced control board and it worked. But after using it for 2 weeks and now again same problem (no display) . I could see that control board service LED is always ON in GREEN (no flashing). Do you think this time I should replace UI board?

Yes, The problem is the UI Board.

Here's the UI Board for your model you can order:

--->It will come with instructions to set the UI personality jumpers per your model number. I replaced a UI Board a few weeks ago on a local customer's GE dishwasher and set the jumpers and it worked perfect!

I'm attaching your tech manual below, it gives you the steps to replace it.

The steps listed in it:
Remove the Door, then Separate the Door, then Disassemble the Inner Door Components.

The jumper instruction sheet comes with it.

Look here, PDT825 is personality 11. See how the jumpers are set? Set yours the exact same way. See how all the jumpers are in place, except for pin 4 jumper?

Remember, the original UI Board does NOT have jumpers, the new UI Board DOES have jumpers.

For control board also jumpers need to be set? I didnt touch it but may be I should revisit that also.

No, unless the control board came with instructions to set them.

Yes, if that's the instructions that came with your UI Board, PDT825 is personality 2.

I set it accordingly and dishwasher is working now......so in all I changed both Control and UI board ......
