Good Afternoon,
This is my first post. We have a GE Profile gas range, model PGB930SET1SS. The oven cycling light (located on the front of the manifold panel) is on all the time. Everything else seems to work. There is not much info about the function of the light in the owners manual so I assume it is supposed to tell me when the oven is on but it's on even when the oven is off. Suggestions? I am pretty handy with a DVOM if needed to diag. TIA

Hi,

I'd remove power. Access the oven temp control and yank off a wire that goes from the control to that light and tape it up so that it does not touch anything. Reinstall power and if the light is out now the oven temp control is sticking closed and needs to be replaced.
