GE Refrigerator GSS25TSRDSS Freezer not getting cold

Freezer is not getting cold enough, replaced compressor fan as that was not working but now unit won't cool. I also replaced the compressor relay to no avail.

Is the compressor running, but no cooling at all inside the freezer?

Yes , you can hear it kick on and a vibration when you feel it. There’s no cooling in the freezer, prior to the compressor fan change the refrigerator part seemed to be cooling ok.

That's odd, was the freezer section at 0 degrees or higher before you replaced that condenser fan motor?

No the freezer section was thawing but the refrigerator section seemed to be ok

Ok, I need to see the frost pattern of the evaporator coil inside the freezer. Take a photo of it after you remove the back panel inside the freezer.

There is no frost, I removed the panel and there was none

If you have no frost on the evaporator coil while the compressor is running, that indicates a typical sealed system problem.

The sealed system consists of the compressor, condenser, evaporator, heat exchanger, filter/drier and refrigerant. Common problems with a sealed system are bad compressors, refrigerant leaks, and system restrictions.

Sealed system repair costs will often exceed the machines value. And at the age yours is now, it would cost more to fix than its worth.
