Original problem was light intermittently working when refrigerator doors were open and water dispenser only working intermittently as well. Now I have leak detected on display and says water and ice are locked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a leak at the water filter housing where you insert the water filter in? Did you recently install a new water filter when that LEAK DETECTED showed up?

Which light was intermittently working? The light at the dispenser? Or the display screen lighting?

There is no leak at the filter housing that I notice. The bypass that comes with the fridge has been inserted from before these problems started and I did not insert a new filter.
The interior lights of the fridge were the ones working intermittently. The display screen lighting has never stopped working.
Does the control panel need to be reset after a leak is detected?
I have water pressure coming from the supply line, I have continuity in the water valve, the only leak I’ve had was from the bottom of the fridge and it was from a clog in the defrost line and that was prior to this issue.

It looks like you just press the DISMISS button when it says LEAK DETECTED.

I have not worked on this model or had training on it, so I'm not sure why these problems are cropping up, possibly a bad circuit board, this refrigerator has many circuit boards so it would be best to have GE come out at 1-800-432-2737 to see which circuit board is bad, or if not a board possibly a shorted wire causing these problems.
