I have a PFS22SISBSS fridge that recently stop cooling the fresh food but the freezer worked fine .
I changed out the thermistor on the evaporator because it was frozen over. and I thought the problem was resloved.The fridge is set tho 0 and 37.
Now the fridge keeps cold enough but the freezer only stays about 7 but has gone as low as 1 ,the defrost cycle kicks on about every 8 hours raising the temp to as high as
12 and then starts going back down.
Any ideas on what it might be,thanks in advance

Sorry I forgot to say that sometimes the fridge temp will lower to 33-34 if the freezer is trying to get to the right temp

I'd ohm test all the thermistors first. You have a refrigerator thermistor and a freezer thermistor, besides the evaporator thermistor you already replaced.

If the thermistors all read good, then the other part left is the motherboard.

You can ohm test the thermistors per Shawn's Video below, to see if they are within spec. Pull the refrigerator out from the wall, then you will see a cover on the back exterior wall and under that cover is the motherboard.

Unplug the refrigerator first!

All the thermistors use the exact same part number:
Thermistor WR55X10025

Thanks for your reply, I will test the other thermistors tomorrow,
Also I've changed the board out first before I changed the evaporator thermistor,I had a spare new sealed motherboard at home.
So I hope the problem will be one of the other thermistors.
I'll let you know.
