Ice maker stopped after filter change, changed filter again, worked for 1 cycle and stopped, Had error code for ice maker so I replaced ice maker assembly. Now no code but new ice maker does nothing even after pushing reset button (No beep) and cycling arm 3 times. Tried unplugging, forced defrost, nothing seems to work. Is it possible the replacement is defective? Also the 2nd filter change seemed to have excessive pressure as I took it off. Normal after that filter.

For the ice maker there is a start button on it: When you push the start button for 15 seconds the icemaker should enter a cycle. If the icemaker does not cycle then the issue will be a bad icemaker.

Ok, yes then its a bad new ice maker, you should be able to return it for another new one for free.
