the refrigerator and freezer both are not working. The lights are on, and I hear something running, but neither are cooling. I unplugged the refrigerator and plugged back in after 30 minutes, but nothing changed. The controls are set to 4/34 for the freezer/refrigerator, but the temps are 60/68.

Hi,

Pull the refrigerator out from the wall, then remove the lower rear access panel then put your hand on the top of your compressor(big black ball shaped part) and feel if its warm and vibrating, also check and see if the condenser fan motor that mounts next to it is running.

The compressor is not warm, nor could I feel any vibration. The condenser fan is running.

Ok, then its possibly the compressor inverter or motherboard. But more times its a bad compressor inverter than motherboard that causes the compressor not to run.

Your model uses the exact same compressor inverter.

Thanks Jake. We had a tech out who also diagnosed the Inverter failure and replaced it. All is good now
