Our front-load washer is just under 2 years old, suddenly started getting the dread H2O Supply error. I checked the hot and cold supply lines and filters: good pressure, no debris or clogs. (Our water is not hard, and neutral pH.) BUT -- the Quick Wash cycle still completes fine, but only with the default settings. (Changing the water temp from warm also brings the H2O supply error. Other cycles fail.) Also, the timer counts down the first minute, and then doesn't progress for many minutes. I can hear the washer fill with water during the Quick Wash, and during fill I can feel the cold water moving in the cold water supply line.
The H2O Supply error is supposed to be unrelated to the wash cycle selection, so I presume the control board went bad. I don't see how the pressure sensor could fail for most cycles, but not Quick Wash.
I have scheduled a service visit via GE, but I see several threads about this error. Has GE acknowledged a manufacturing defect for this problem?
