My top load GE washer fills, agitates, drains, but won't spin. Since it agitates I'm assuming the lid switch is working, and since it drains the pump is working. If I set the cycle to drain and spin then press start the machine just turns off. I haven't had this machine very long, so I'm not too familiar with the cycles, but I would think the pump should at least start on the drain and spin? Any tips on where to start would be appreciated. Thank you.

Enter Consumer Error Mode and see what fault code you are getting.

I apologize for the long delay, the machine is in a second home and this is the first day I was able to get back to it.

Thank you for the service manual. With it I was able to diagnose a faulty lid switch. Upon inspection one of the mechanical toggles is broken. I was able to repair it temporarily until the replacement arrives.
