GTW220ACK7WW washer is 15 months old. Now whenever it spins very slowly, such as when done spinning, or if you just turn the agitator by hand, it makes a squeaking/creaking sound. What do you think it is? Belt?

Yes, I'd first check the belt underneath the washer.

Here's the belt for your model:

I've checked the belt and it's ok. However, the motor pulley was very greasy and it sprayed grease everywhere. Seeing that it's attached to the 1/3 motor, could the motor be bad or is it greased like that from the factory?

Looking at the parts diagram I think it might be the platform retainer and bearing as the agitator is now loose as well.
