GE washer overloaded & banging on spin cycle. Removed everything, still banging

I overloaded my GE Profile top loader washing machine. It started banging to the point of knocking the front end off. I emptied machine & started spin cycle again. Still banging. "Held, pressed tub backward" & it calmed down. Let go, banging started again. Still empty. Belt seems tight & in tact. What can I look for to possibly repair?

Hi,

I'd first check all the suspension straps to see if any are worn/cracked/broken.

It's always best to replace them all when one is bad.

Here is the suspension straps you can order here:

If your straps are fine, then your suspension rods have failed and will need to be replaced.

If yours are orange, they have changed them to green(these are the two for the front):
